1. Soil

2. Watering

When caring for perfume orchids, the more water does not necessarily mean better. Watering must be reasonable. During the growth period, it is sufficient to water once every 3-4 days, and adhere to the principle of watering when the soil is dry and then watering when it is wet.

3. Lighting

The perfume orchid has a relatively high demand for light. It is best to grow it in a sunny environment. After entering summer, the plant should be shaded to avoid direct sunlight.

4. Fertilization

When growing perfume orchids, you need to apply fertilizer to the plants every spring. It is best to choose a dilute liquid fertilizer. Be careful not to use chemical fertilizers, and avoid high temperatures when applying fertilizers.

5. Disease prevention and pest control

Perfume orchids are prone to white rot in hot seasons, so it is necessary to pay attention to the prevention and control of diseases and pests. If they are potted, Bordeaux mixture or thiophanate-methyl can be used for prevention and control.

Precautions for perfume orchid care

The requirements of the perfume orchid for the maintenance environment are relatively high. It is best to place it in a well-ventilated, moist and environmentally friendly environment so that the plant can grow well. It would be even better if it is close to a pond, riverside, etc.
