The spring flower likes a humid growing environment, so it grows more vigorously. During the growth period, the soil should be kept moist and watered frequently, but care should be taken not to allow water to accumulate in the pot. Fertilization should be applied thinly and frequently. During the growing period, you can apply some thin fertilizer every 1 to 2 weeks. When the spring flowers grow buds, you can apply some phosphorus fertilizer appropriately to make more buds, promote flowering, and make the flowers brighter.

Reproduction method

The spring flower is generally propagated by sowing, suitable for autumn sowing, and can also be sown in spring in some areas. Generally, sowing is done in September, and the temperature is kept at around 20℃. The seedlings need to be kept indoors in winter. It is best to place them in a cool room to ensure a high temperature, and transplant them in the spring of the following year. Please note that the seeds need to be harvested in time after the spring flowers bloom, otherwise the seeds will easily be lost.

Pests and diseases

Diseases and pests of spring flowers are not common, but in the rainy season, spring flowers need to pay attention to the prevention of damping-off and powdery mildew. It is necessary to strengthen ventilation and keep the air unobstructed to reduce the occurrence of these diseases and pests.
