When does Phalaenopsis bloom?

How many years does it take for it to bloom?

Generally speaking, it takes Phalaenopsis 3 years to bloom.

If you want to see Phalaenopsis bloom earlier, don't buy seeds and 1.5-inch or 2.5-inch seedlings. For small seedlings, it will take three years to bloom. If you want them to bloom in the same year, it is best to buy 3.5-inch ones.

How many times a year does it bloom and in which month does it bloom?

Phalaenopsis blooms once or twice a year, usually around the Spring Festival, and the viewing period can last up to 2 to 3 months.

When the flowers wither, they must be cut off as soon as possible to reduce nutrient consumption.

Cut the flower stem 4 to 5 nodes from the base and it will bloom again after 2 to 3 months.

However, in a domestic environment, it often only blooms once a year.
