Complete list of Epiphyllum varieties

Epiphyllum scutellaria

The fine-leaved Epiphyllum is a type of Epiphyllum and is not very common. When the fine-leaved Epiphyllum blooms, the flowers are small, but the number of flowers is astonishing, the leaves are thornless and slender.

It is said that the fine-leaved Epiphyllum is a small, elegant and fragrant variety.

Peacock Epiphyllum

The peacock night-blooming cereus is often called the night-blooming peacock. When it blooms, its flowers look more like white chrysanthemums.

The leaves of the peacock night-blooming cereus have degenerated, leaving only two flat, fleshy, thick leaf-like stems. The leaf-like stems have symmetrical coarse serrated teeth on both sides, resembling dragon bones, so it is also called dragon bone epiphyllum. The areoles are located in serrated notches and can grow into bright green tender stems. There are a few fine thorns on the young stems, while the thorns fall off on the old stems, leaving thorn marks.

When the peacock night-blooming cereus blooms, its petals are slender and beautiful.

Giant Wing Epiphyllum

The flowers of the giant-winged Epiphyllum are somewhat similar to those of the large-flowered Epiphyllum. The flowers are very large and also bloom at night. The flower show is amazing. But it doesn't seem to look good, and feels clumsy. Some people think it is a domesticated cactus.

Sawtooth Epiphyllum

The serrated epiphyllum is said to be commonly known as the fishbone cactus and the fishbone epiphyllum. Its appearance is very strange, but what is strange is not the flower, but the serrated stem, which is shaped like a fish bone.

The teeth of the serrated Epiphyllum are relatively round, the flowers are white with a light yellow outer layer, and the flower color and shape are similar to those of the Epiphyllum.

Epiphyllum curcumae

In fact, the shape of the stem of this plant is very special, so some people call it curled-leaf Epiphyllum, also known as oyster Epiphyllum. The main feature of this Epiphyllum is its leaves, which are curled and twisted, a bit like seaweed in the water, and look peculiar. However, the flowers of Epiphyllum are not pretty, they are very small and inconspicuous. In addition, Epiphyllum curlyleaf will bear fruit, which is a bit like a mini dragon fruit.
