How to grow potted Impatiens, what size pot should I use?

1. Cultivation method of potted Impatiens

1. Light: Impatiens itself is a plant that likes the sun. When growing it in a potted plant, it should be placed in a place with good light to allow it to get more sun. Let it see light for at least 4 hours a day to maintain normal growth. If the plant lacks light, its stems and leaves will grow too long and it will be difficult to bloom.

2. Temperature: Impatiens prefers a warm environment. If the temperature can always be provided between 16 and 26 degrees, it will be most suitable and conducive to its growth. It has poor cold resistance, so potted plants must be moved indoors and the temperature must be controlled after the temperature drops so that they can safely survive the winter.

3. Water: It is drought-resistant but not waterlogged. You don't need to water too frequently when growing the plant. Just water it appropriately when you find the soil in the pot is dry. If there are continuous rainy days, you should avoid them in time and drain the accumulated water in the flower pots to avoid waterlogging and root rot.

4. Fertilization: If you want the Impatiens to bloom more and grow more vigorously, you need to fertilize it. During the peak growing season, apply fertilizer once every half a month, and apply phosphorus and potassium fertilizers every ten days before flowering to promote better and longer flowering.

2. What size pot should be used for potted Impatiens

When growing Impatiens in potted plants, the flowerpot does not need to be too large, a diameter of about 20 to 30 centimeters will be enough. The specific size depends on the number of seedlings. The more the number, the larger the size. If the diameter is too large, it will be difficult to present the scene of the pot bursting, which will reduce the ornamental value.
