Water Tower Flower

The leaves of the water tower flower are long and narrow like swords, green and shiny. In winter, bright red columnar inflorescences emerge from the tender green leaf tubes, about 30 cm high. Many small flowers grow on the top. The petals are three, light yellow-green with blue edges. The flowers turn outward after opening. When in full bloom, the clusters of blue-green flowers appear particularly gorgeous against the backdrop of red bracts, and the viewing period can last up to two months.

Bromeliad

Bromeliad, also known as small pineapple, is most suitable for potted viewing. The leaves are firm and slender with wavy edges. They come in creamy yellow, red or purple-red colors. There are crab-shaped longitudinal stripes on the leaf surface. The flowers are white or light green and grow in clusters of leaves, forming a disc.

Dragonfly pineapple

The dragonfly pineapple is also known as the beautiful leaf light lotus and the spotted pink pineapple. The plant is composed of 10 to 20 leaves forming a rosette-shaped leaf cluster with a cup-shaped base and a peculiar shape. The tip of the leaf is blunt and turned outward, bright green in color, with a layer of silver-white on the surface, and the leaf surface has irregular color and dark green horizontal stripes and patches. The densely packed small flowers are blue at first and then turn into rose red, like a dragonfly flapping its wings in flight. The viewing period can last for several months.

Golden Edge Pineapple

The leaves of the golden-edged pineapple are sword-shaped, curled outward, crisp and shiny. The front of the leaves is dark green, the edges are yellow-green, and some leaves also have varying yellow-green stripes in the middle. When blooming, each small flower appears yellow, red and purple from bottom to top, which is very ornamental.

Colorful pineapple

The colorful bromeliad, also known as the torch, is a hybrid. The leaf edges are smooth and without serrations. An upright flower stalk grows out from the center, up to 35 to 40 cm long. The flower buds are deep red, thick and shiny, and the entire inflorescence looks like a burning torch. The flowering period can last up to three months, making it also a favorite among ornamental pineapples.
