How to cultivate creeper

How to cultivate creeper

Temperature, light:

Although Parthenocissus tricuspidata has strong adaptability and is cold-resistant and drought-resistant, you still need to pay attention to temperature control when growing it. Ivy is a warm-loving flower, so the appropriate temperature should be maintained during the day. The slightly lower temperature at night will not affect the normal growth of the ivy. Dry, moist, well-ventilated and well-sheltered places are more conducive to the growth of ivy.

Soil moisture:

Moist soil is more suitable for the healthy growth of ivy, so it is very important to ensure the moisture of the soil and air, and to control it to achieve the best effect. In addition, the soil must be fertile, loose and well-drained.

Watering and fertilizing:

When watering ivy, do not water it until the soil is dry. When you do, water it thoroughly. Water it once in the morning and evening in summer, and in the afternoon in spring and autumn. It needs less water in winter, and it only needs watering once every two weeks.

Breeding and cultivation:

Ivy has the characteristics of strong vitality, so you can cultivate it by cutting branches about 15 cm long and inserting them into the flowerpot. First place it in a place with a temperature of about 10-20℃ for cultivation. Wait for it to take root and sprout, and then transfer it to a large tank for cultivation.

Environmental influence on creeper

Ivy likes shade and humidity, is cold and drought resistant, has strong adaptability, and can climb and grow by adhering to supports such as walls through suction cups. Light, temperature and water can all have a direct impact on ivy.

I believe flower lovers should have a general understanding of how to grow creepers, so let’s take practical action to further cultivate creepers.
