Introduction

Ivy: Parthenocissus genus, Vitaceae, there are about 15 species in the world, widely distributed in North America and Asia. There are about 10 recorded species of Parthenocissus in my country, produced all over the country, distributed from the southwest to the east.

Introduction status: Not introduced.

Originated from my country. It likes shade and is cold-resistant, has strong adaptability to soil, grows extremely quickly, and can achieve good beautification effects in a short period of time.

The most common types of creepers in my country:

Parthenocissus heterophylla

The leaves are heterosexual, and the leaves on the nutrient branches are commonly simple, heart-shaped, and small.

The leaf epidermis is usually light green, a little pale, and its young leaves and autumn leaves are purple-red. The flowering period of Parthenocissus tricuspidata is generally June.

Green creeper

The main feature is that the leaves on the flower branches are finger-shaped compound leaves, with 3-5 leaflets, mostly 5, obovate or elliptical, 6-14 cm long and 2-5 cm wide. Bilaterally symmetrical, base not tilted, slightly pubescent on dorsal veins, 7-10 pairs of lateral veins, raised on both sides, petiolules 0.5-1 cm long. The thyrse inflorescence is spreading, opposite the leaves or terminal on the side branches. The flowering period is June to July, and the fruit ripening period is September to October.
