How often should roses be watered?

How often should roses be watered?

1. Water every few days

Roses like moist growing conditions and cannot be deprived of water during the growing season. Therefore, in spring and autumn, water should be given every 4-5 days to prevent it from lack of water. In summer, you can water it every 2-3 days to prevent it from being dehydrated by high temperatures and strong light. However, in winter, in order to prevent it from freezing due to waterlogging, it needs to be watered once every 15 days or so.

2. What kind of water should be poured?

When watering it, you need to choose clean water. If there is rain, you can water directly with rainwater. If not, you can also draw water from the surrounding ponds or rivers to irrigate it. In addition, you can also use purified water or tap water that has been left to dry for 1-2 days to water it. But you can't water it with freshly tap water.

3. How to water

Choose a sunny day, in the morning or evening, to water the plants. Pour the prepared water into the kettle, then gently pour it into the soil along the edge of the flower pot. Do not water the plant directly at its roots to avoid waterlogging. Once you see the color of the soil surface become noticeably darker, you can stop watering.
