How to make daylily delicious

1. Cold-mixed daylily

It is a common practice to cook day lily in cold salad. Soak it in clean water first and take it out after half an hour. Add water to the pot and boil it, add appropriate amount of oil, then pour it into the pot and cook for about 4-5 minutes, take it out and put it in cold boiled water to cool. Add seasoning according to taste and stir-fry until cooked.

Daylily can also be used to make soup, and it can be paired with many ingredients, such as bitter melon. Before making soup, soak the day lily in clean water for half an hour, then remove the stems and wash them. Cut the bitter gourd into strips and blanch it in hot water to reduce the bitterness. Then put them all in the pot, add water and cook for 20-30 minutes, then add some salt and chicken essence to season.

4. Daylily, black fungus and pork ribs congee

Daylily can be used to make porridge with papaya and pork ribs. Soak it in water for half an hour, then take it out, wash it and cut it into sections. Rinse the rice, clean the ribs and chop them into 2 cm pieces, blanch them in hot water to remove blood stains. Heat the pot, add water, rice and pork ribs, add day lily and fungus after boiling, simmer for one and a half hours, then add salt and MSG. You can add sesame oil, pepper and chopped coriander after serving.
