How to choose durian, durian price

How to choose durian, durian price

1. How to choose

1. Observe and touch the thorns: If the thorns of durian are thick, short and sparsely distributed, it means that the durian has many grains and thick flesh. If its thorns are long, short and closely spaced, it means that its fruit is not full and has a thick skin. Alternatively, you can select two adjacent spikes and pinch the tips of the spikes with your hands to bring them inward. If you can easily bring them together, it means the durian is good; if you can't pinch them together with great effort, it means the durian is raw.

2. Observe the size and bottom: larger durians taste better and have more flesh than smaller ones. Choose ones with a flatter bottom, as they will have more flesh.

3. Observe the cracks: If the durian is ripe, it will crack. However, it should be noted that the crack should not be too large, otherwise the flesh may deteriorate.

4. Observe the smell: When choosing, you can smell the smell from the bottom of the durian. If it smells like mown grass, it is not yet ripe. If you smell an odor of alcohol, it means the durian flesh has gone bad.

2. Price

The price of durian is not fixed and generally varies according to the season, variety, local price level and region. Under normal circumstances, an ordinary variety of durian costs about 100 yuan. If it is a golden pillow durian, one will cost about 200 yuan, and one Maoshan durian will cost more than 500 yuan. In addition, the market price of imported durian will be more expensive. You can buy durian in summer, which will be more cost-effective.
