What is the flower language of Epiphyllum?

1. Its flower language

Its flower language has a lot to do with its flowering characteristics. We must have all heard of the term "ephemeral", which is about the language of the epiphyllum. Each time it blooms, it only blooms for a short time, and some flowers only bloom once a year. Because of this feature, there are two common flower languages:

1. The beauty of a moment: This is also consistent with its characteristics. Although the time is very short, the flowers that bloom are amazing and breathtaking. Sometimes, although the beauty of a moment cannot be retained, it is what we are all willing to pursue.

2. Eternity in a moment: Although the blooming of Epiphyllum does not last for a long time, its beauty is eternal in our hearts and we will remember it forever.

2. Its legend

Legend has it that there is a flower god. A young man watered and weeded it every day. So, the flower goddess fell in love with the young man. The Jade Emperor was very dissatisfied and demoted the flower god to a night-blooming cereus. He also sent the young man to a temple to let him forget his past and gave him the name "Weituo". Later, Wei Tuo really didn't remember anything. He only remembered that he devoted himself to studying Buddhist principles and achieved some success. But the flower god remembered them all, and bloomed every year when Wei Tuo came down the mountain, hoping that he would remember them one day. The night-blooming cereus bloomed silently every time, but Wei Tuo could never smell the fragrance. Hence the saying that the short-lived flower only appears for Vedic purpose came into being.
