How to take care of the newly bought peach beauty

1. How to take care of the newly bought peach beauty

When you first buy the peach beauty, you need to water it thoroughly. Then, when you see that the soil is dry, water it again. Do not let water accumulate in the pot, otherwise the root system of the plant will be easily damaged. It is best to choose loose, well-drained and breathable sandy soil, and place it in a warm and ventilated place. It should not be exposed to direct strong light for the time being. First place it in a place with sufficient scattered light to allow it to slowly settle. No fertilization is needed until normal growth returns.

2. Specific breeding methods

1. Watering: The peach beauty has strict requirements on water during its growth period, neither too much nor too little. When you first buy it, you need to reduce the frequency of watering because it has not yet returned to normal growth. Under normal circumstances, the principle of watering is "water as soon as the soil is dry, and make sure to water thoroughly". There should be no water accumulation. On average, water 3-4 times a month to keep the soil dry and moist. In winter, the temperature is relatively low, so watering must be done at noon. In the other three seasons, you can choose to water in the evening or early morning. When watering, be careful not to let water drip onto its leaves.

2. Soil: It likes loose, fertile, well-drained and breathable sandy soil. You can mix peat with perlite, river mud, and cinders in a 1:1:1 ratio to prepare its nutrient soil, and then spread granular clean river sand or pumice on it.

3. Light: When you first buy it, you can place it in a place with soft light to adapt for a period of time, and then move it to a sunny place for maintenance. In summer, when the light is strong, appropriate shading can be provided. In an environment with continuous cloudy days, artificial lighting is required.

4. Temperature: It likes a warm environment. When you first buy it, you can place it in an environment with a temperature of about 20℃ for maintenance. During the high temperature period in summer, appropriate cooling treatment is needed. You can place it in a well-ventilated place for maintenance to avoid damage to the plant. When the temperature is below 3℃ in winter, you need to pay attention to cold protection. When it is below 0℃, you need to reduce watering.

5. Fertilization: It does not require much fertilizer during normal growth, and there is no need to rush to fertilize it when you just buy it. During the growth period, you can apply more fertilizer appropriately, and when it blooms, you can apply some phosphorus and potassium fertilizers.
