How to care for the newly bought weeping angel

How to care for the newly bought weeping angel

1. How to deal with the newly bought Dripping Guanyin

When you just buy the weeping angel, don't put it in the pot immediately. You need to check the condition of the plant first. If the plant's roots are rotten or have other diseased branches, you need to cut them off with scissors, then disinfect the cut with disinfectant, place the plant in a well-ventilated place to dry, and then put it in a pot.

2. How to cultivate the newly bought dripping Guanyin

1. Light: It likes shade. When you first buy it, you need to put it in a cool place for a period of time, and then slowly give it light. It is best to place it in a bright but not very ventilated place for maintenance, avoiding strong light exposure, but also not in a too dark place all the time. Make sure it has 3 hours of light every morning and evening for normal growth.

2. Watering: When it is just bought, you need to control watering appropriately. Once it has adapted to the environment and resumed growth, you can water it normally. Under normal circumstances, the soil in the pot should be kept slightly moist for a long time in spring and autumn; it should be watered sufficiently in summer to keep the soil in the pot dry and wet. It is best to spray water on the surface of the plant and around the pot once on weekdays to ensure the air humidity. But do not overwater, as this may cause the roots to rot and die.

3. Temperature: It likes a warm environment. When you first buy it, you need to keep it in an environment with a temperature of about 25℃. When the temperature is lower than 18℃, it will stop growing. In winter, it is best to keep the temperature above 8℃ to ensure that it can safely spend the winter.

4. Fertilization: It has a relatively large demand for fertilizer. However, when you just buy it, you need to stop fertilizing because it has not yet returned to normal growth. Spring and summer are its main growth periods. During the growth period, you can apply a thin nitrogen fertilizer with a concentration of 15%-20% every half a month; after that, you can apply fertilizer once a month. It should be noted that fertilizer should not be applied in winter.
