1. Medicinal origin

This plant has a long history of being used as a medicinal herb. The earliest record is in "Shennong Bencao Jing".

This plant itself contains many beneficial chemical components that have a relieving effect on symptoms. For example, "flavonoids", "carotene", "creatinine", and many kinds of amino acids, etc.

4. Preparation and storage

It’s quite simple. First, remove impurities and wash it clean. Then, cut into thin slices and dry them in the sun. As for the storage place, we have to choose a dry and cool place, and be careful to prevent insects.

5. Application

(1) Sore throat, snake and insect bites, etc.: This plant has the effects of clearing heat, relieving pain, reducing swelling and detoxifying. When treating carbuncle, it can be used alone and mixed with vinegar for external application. In addition, it can also be used together with other medicines such as "honeysuckle" and "coptis chinensis". When treating sore throat, you can use "Forsythia suspensa" and "Isatis root" together. It can be used alone or in combination with "Lobelia" to treat insect bites. In addition, the effect of using its fresh roots for external application is also better.

(2) Strong winds, convulsions, etc.: The main effect of this plant is to clear away heat, calm wind and soothe shock. Specifically, you can use this medicine alone, or you can use it in combination with other medicines such as "chrysanthemum" and "Uncaria rhynchophylla".

(3) Traumatic injuries: It is mainly used for its effects of reducing swelling, relieving pain and stopping bleeding. Grind it into powder and take it with water to treat bleeding from external injuries. It can also be used together with "Sanqi" and "Xuejie".

6. Adverse reactions
