Main Ingredients

Zhaoshanbai is also called Wanjingke or Tieshicha. Its branches and leaves are usually picked in summer and dried, and then they can be used as medicine. This plant contains a variety of chemical components, mainly tannins, saponins, flavonoids, oils and polysaccharides, as well as volatile oils and reducing substances. Among them, flavonoids include kaempferol, quercetin and gossypol.

The main diseases treated by Zhaoshanbai include rheumatic bone pain, fractures, postpartum joint pain, low back pain and other pain symptoms, as well as diseases such as dysentery and chronic tracheitis. If you have a fracture or a sore, you can mash the flowers and leaves of the herb and apply them to the wound.

Cough

In pharmacology, it has the effects of removing expectorant and relieving cough, tightening blood vessel muscles, dilating blood vessels, relieving pressure, and enhancing breathing and heartbeat.

Postpartum recovery

For postpartum body pain, you can use 1 to 1.5 cents of Zhaoshanbai to boil water and drink it once a day for twenty days. For patients with dysentery, it can be decocted with vanilla, agrimony and geranium.
