The ornamental and medicinal value of Fritillaria thunbergii

The ornamental value of Fritillaria odorifera

There are many varieties of Fritillaria that are suitable for cultivation. The plants are tall and upright, the flowers are large, and the flowers have beautiful shapes and bright colors, making them very suitable as ornamental flowers. Some varieties of Fritillaria have extremely high ornamental value, such as Halo, which has orange petals; Crown King, which also has orange petals and two circles of flowers as a major feature; Lutia Extreme, which has dark yellow petals; and finally, Prime Minister, which has orange-yellow petals with slightly purple markings, which is particularly special.

Compared with planting in pots, Fritillaria thunbergii is more suitable for cultivation in courtyards or gardens and can be used for decoration. Of course, compared to plants with short stems, they can be planted in pots and used as flower arrangement artworks, which is also a good choice for indoor viewing.

Medicinal value of Fritillaria thunbergii

The most common medicinal effect of Fritillaria is to resolve phlegm and moisten the lungs. The effects of different varieties of Fritillaria are different. But no matter which type of Fritillaria it is, their medicinal value cannot be underestimated.

In general, these varieties of Fritillaria can relieve symptoms such as cough, phlegm, and exogenous cough.
