The flower language and symbolic meaning of the beauty cherry: icing on the cake

The beauty cherry is also called grass five-color plum, ground verbena, ground brocade, four-season hydrangea, and beauty cherry. The plants are short and dense, the flowers are numerous and colorful, and the flowering period is long, so they can be used as material for flower beds and flower borders. It can also be used as a potted flower and planted in large areas in garden gaps and tree altars. Common cultivated species of the same genus include Canada beauty cherry, red leaf beauty cherry, and fine leaf beauty cherry. The whole plant can be used as medicine, which has the effect of clearing heat and cooling blood.

Introduction to Bijin Sakura

Beauty cherry is one of the Shujin varieties. That is, "icing on the cake". The satin is paved with geometric patterns or small floral patterns, and large flowers such as Baoxianghua are inlaid on the patterns. The colors are rich, the layers are distinct, and some are even inlaid with gold lines, which is extremely magnificent. This decorative method fully reflects the style and characteristics of Shu brocade.

"Brocade" was originally an ancient art popular in Arabia and was introduced to my country in the 15th century. This is how it works. First, draw squares and diagonal lines. Then, enter the corresponding numbers in the drawn squares. Finally, use the multiplication formula to calculate based on the recorded numbers. Because after the calculation, it looks like the brocade woven in ancient my country. Therefore, the working people of our country gave this calculation format a very vivid name - "paving the floor brocade".
