Does the Australian fir bloom?

Does the Australian fir bloom?

1. No flowering

It will not bloom. Although it can be grown as an indoor ornamental plant and is very popular, it is not grown for its flowers. It is very tall, but as a potted plant, its height is generally less than two meters to avoid taking up too much space indoors.

Its crown is generally tower-shaped with a pointed top and is dark green in color. The color of its surface is bronze, so it has a very simple style when placed indoors. It can be reasonably matched with a variety of indoor items to achieve a decorative effect. People keep it at home mainly to appreciate its shape and leaves rather than its flowers.

2. Its distribution

It is not native to our country, but to the southeastern coastal areas of Oceania. It was later introduced into my country and first appeared in the southeast coastal provinces, such as Guangdong Province. It was only around the beginning of the 21st century that it was farmed in some northern provinces. Its bonsai, in particular, is very popular.

3. Its habits

Its habits can be analyzed by its place of origin. It likes to live in warm places and is not cold-tolerant. It is shade-tolerant to a certain extent, but it will grow well if grown in a place with good light; however, it should be avoided from strong sunlight in the summer. It is not drought-tolerant and needs plenty of water.
