Hydroponics MethodThe hydroponic method of rubber tree is very simple and does not require complicated steps. It can be done in just a few steps. Select a small rubber tree with a good plant shape, remove it from the pot, clean the roots, and prune it appropriately. Trim the leaves near the bottom of the container appropriately, and place them directly into the hydroponic container after the cut is dry. If the plant is slightly larger and has a heavier crown, it is recommended to put expanded clay in the container, which is beneficial for both fixing the plant and promoting rooting. Water cultureRubber trees prefer a warm and humid environment. The most suitable temperature is 22~32℃. The wintering temperature is around 8℃. They are shade-tolerant and the maintenance methods of hydroponics and soil cultivation are basically the same. In the early stage of hydroponics, change the water every 2 to 3 days. After about two weeks, aquatic roots will gradually grow. When the plant gradually adapts to the hydroponic environment, move the container to a sunny place and add a few drops of nutrient solution to the water. After rooting, change the water and nutrient solution every two weeks. Clean the container regularly. Bacteria are easily bred in hydroponic containers. When changing the water, clean the inner wall of the container. Clean the roots of the rubber tree every two months and trim the old roots. |
