Strain selectionBefore growing mushrooms, the first thing to do is to choose the strain. Good strains can help you grow good mushrooms. The bag containing the fungus must be hard, thick and not easy to break. Secondly, it must be transparent so that it is convenient to observe the growth of the seedlings. The density of the fungus material in the bag should be about 450 grams per cubic meter, and half of its volume should be exposed above the water surface when placed in water. At the same time, when purchasing mushroom strains, you should consider the weight and volume. A large weight and a small volume indicate that there is not too much water mixed in. The main material of the fungus medium is preferably cottonseed hull, which appears dark brown in color, and the color of the mycelium is generally white. Planting methodUntie the mushroom bag, open a hole about two centimeters, then spray a little water, place it in a well-ventilated and humid place, avoid direct sunlight, and keep the room temperature between 20 and 30 degrees. When the small bud mushrooms grow out of the bag, the entire bag opening can be opened. Cover the bag with a wet towel, sprinkle water on the towel frequently to keep it moist, and mushrooms will grow in a few days. When the mushroom cap grows to one centimeter, you need to water it frequently to maintain humidity. It will mature in less than a week and can be picked when the mushroom cap grows like a wave. After picking, clean the removed roots, continue to maintain moisture, and a new round of mushrooms will grow. |
