Don’t grow these flowers in the summer, or they will die!

Fuchsia

Fuchsias are the hardest hit by death in summer. Basically, those who know how to grow this kind of flower will dump out the pots in the summer because the flowers will die!

Summer maintenance points:

1. The temperature in summer should not exceed 30 degrees. Once it exceeds 30 degrees, the fuchsia will easily die. So, turn on the air conditioning!

2. Place in a cool and ventilated place away from direct sunlight.

3. Do not apply fertilizer and control watering. Because fuchsia is dormant in summer, it is better to keep the soil in the pot dry. Water it about once a week.

Cyclamen

Summer maintenance points:

1. When the temperature exceeds 30℃, it is easy to shed leaves and enter a dormant state; when it exceeds 35℃, it is easy to rot due to heat and even die. So check the temperature and turn on the air conditioner! Or sprinkle water on the ground to increase the humidity of the air and lower the temperature.

2. Place it in a cool and ventilated place. Ventilation is especially important.

3. Water less! Cyclamen will hibernate in summer and should be watered about once a month, otherwise long-term dryness will cause the bulb to shrivel.

4. You can also dig out the bulbs after the above-ground part of the cyclamen has dried up and store them in a cool and ventilated place.

Schlumbergera

Summer maintenance methods:

1. Don't water it too frequently. Christmas cactus will be killed by overwatering. It will hibernate in summer. Water it once a month and keep the soil in the pot dry.

2. Place it in a cool place away from the sun with good ventilation.

Geranium

Summer maintenance points:

1. Ventilation, ventilation, ventilation. I have to say it three times because it is important. Especially in the southern region, it is very humid and hot. If the ventilation is not good, the geranium will definitely die.

2. Do not let geraniums be exposed to rain or water. Once water accumulates, it will easily cause black rot.

3. Do not expose it to direct sunlight. You can put it in the north balcony or other places that can avoid the midday sun.

Palace Lantern Longevity

Summer maintenance points:

1. When the temperature reaches 30℃, the longevity lantern will enter a semi-dormant state. If the current high temperature is not good, the longevity lantern will die.

2. To provide shade, place it on the north balcony if conditions permit, or put up a sun protection net on the south balcony.

3. Ventilation must be good, otherwise the moisture will not evaporate easily and black rot will occur.

4. Control water. The root system’s ability to absorb water is relatively weak during dormancy, so water when the soil is dry and keep the soil in the pot dry at other times!
