How to grow money tree

1. Temperature

It is a tropical plant and prefers a higher temperature environment. The best temperature is between 20 and 32 degrees, which is most conducive to its growth. Normally, it can grow normally if the temperature is above 10 degrees. Please note that too high a temperature is not good. Once it exceeds 35 degrees, it needs to be cooled down, otherwise it will grow poorly.

2. Soil

When breeding, use fertile, breathable soil with high humus content. You can mix it with peat soil, coal slag, coarse sand and a small amount of garden soil. Be careful not to make it too sticky, otherwise poor air permeability will easily lead to stem rot.

3. Lighting

Although it likes light, it is also shade-tolerant and cannot accept strong light. Therefore, from late spring to summer, you should avoid strong light and provide shade in time, otherwise the leaves will easily be sunburned. In winter, you should let it get more sun, and it is best to give it full light, which will help it survive the winter.

4. Watering

During the maintenance and management period, watering does not need to be too frequent. It is suitable for growing in a moist and slightly dry environment. In summer, more watering and sprinkling are needed, but water must not be allowed to accumulate in the soil. You need to control water in winter and just spray water more often at other times.

5. Fertilization

It likes fertilizer and should be fertilized frequently during maintenance. Two or three times of diluted compound fertilizer solution should be applied during the growing season to enable it to grow vigorously. Stop using nitrogen fertilizer in autumn and apply more potassium dihydrogen phosphate solution. This will allow the plant to survive the winter smoothly and promote the growth of young leaves next year.
