What to do if the chrysanthemum leaves are drooping

What to do if the chrysanthemum leaves are drooping

1. Water thoroughly

If the leaves of chrysanthemums droop, the most likely reason is lack of water. If you don't water them for a long time, the plants will lack water and will not be able to stand upright. You can water it to replenish moisture. It needs to be watered thoroughly at one time. Once the plant absorbs enough water, it will recover after a period of time.

2. Reduce light

The plant itself lacks water, and the strong sunlight exposure will naturally cause the plant to lack water and droop its leaves. You can reduce sunlight exposure and do not place it under strong light. First move it to a cool place with scattered light. Note that it cannot be placed in a completely dark place. Wait for the plant to slowly recover. After about a week, the plant will be almost recovered and can be exposed to sunlight.

3. Pruning leaves

If the transpiration is too great, the water absorbed by the roots will not be able to make up for the water evaporated. If there are too many leaves, this phenomenon will be aggravated. You can trim the leaves, first cut off the leaves that are drooping severely, then trim the other leaves appropriately, and shorten some of the branches, which can effectively reduce transpiration.

4. Adjust the temperature

Unsuitable temperature in the growing environment will also affect the leaves. If the temperature is too high, it will intensify transpiration. The temperature can be adjusted to an appropriate range.
