1. Why did they freeze to death?

Pothos is not suitable for growing in low temperature environments. Temperatures below 15℃ will cause poor growth. If left in a low temperature environment for a long time, it will freeze, and in severe cases it may even freeze to death. In addition, if the water used for watering is too cold, it will freeze its roots and cause it to wither and die.

2. How to treat

1. Cut off branches and leaves: The upper part of the plant will find it difficult to continue growing after being frozen and will slowly wither. Cut them all off to prevent further consumption of nutrients. Start cutting from above the potting soil, keep 1-2 buds on each branch, and cut off the rest.

2. Proper maintenance: After being cut, the green radish should be placed in a warm place to prevent it from being frozen again. If the indoor temperature is not high enough, you can cover the flower pot with plastic film, which can effectively keep warm. You can spray some water before putting on the bag to keep the inside moist.

3. Select branches and leaves: The cut branches and leaves can be used to grow a new pot of green radish through cuttings. Select some leaves that are not dry and yellow, and bring a branch with aerial roots, so that the branches and leaves can survive.

4. Carry out cuttings: Find a flowerpot of suitable size and fill it with loose and fertile soil. Insert the aerial roots of the branches and leaves into the soil and water it thoroughly. Then place it in a cool place for maintenance, and keep the substrate moist during this period, which is more conducive to rooting and germination.
