How to remedy the problem of succulent plants losing leaves

How to remedy the problem of succulent plants losing leaves

1. Supplementary lighting

If you keep it in a dark place for a long time during maintenance, the leaves will fall off due to lack of light. At this time, you need to move it to a bright place to get more sun exposure, but if it is summer, you must provide shade in time, otherwise you will get sunburned.

2. Replace the soil

Succulent plants prefer soil with good air permeability, otherwise it will affect their normal growth and the leaves will fall off. If the soil is not suitable, it should be replaced in time. Be careful not to use soil that is too sticky. In addition, clean up the fallen leaves in time.

3. Watering in moderation

If you water frequently or too much water during maintenance, the roots cannot absorb all the water, which will hinder breathing and cause rot, and the leaves will fall off. It should be moved to a well-ventilated place to allow the moisture to evaporate as quickly as possible. If the rot is severe, the rotten roots must be trimmed and the plant must be disinfected before replanting.

4. Control temperature

Succulents have relatively poor resistance to cold and high temperatures, so you must pay attention to temperature control in summer and winter, otherwise the leaves will fall off due to improper high and low temperature environments. In summer, place it in a ventilated place and sprinkle water to cool it down. In winter, it should be placed indoors and provided with suitable temperature.
