What to do if the fortune tree loses leaves in summer

What to do if the fortune tree loses leaves in summer

1. Control watering

Reason: We all know that the money tree needs to absorb water to grow. Because water evaporates quickly in summer, many flower lovers will water it plenty. This will cause water to accumulate in the flowerpot, and its roots will rot, causing the leaves to fall off.

Rescue method: You need to immediately reduce the amount of watering and loosen the soil appropriately to keep the soil well permeable. It is recommended to ventilate more when controlling water, which can promote water loss to a certain extent.

2. Adjust the temperature

Reason: It does not like an overly warm environment, especially when the temperature is high in summer, its growth is easily hindered, making it prone to yellowing and leaf loss.

Rescue method: If the problem is caused by high temperature, you should cool down the plant quickly and spray water on it appropriately. Or you can move it to a room with lower temperature, usually as long as the temperature is not higher than 30℃.

3. Block out strong light

Reason: The money tree is relatively afraid of heat, so not only the temperature should be controlled, but the light should also be managed well. Don't expose it to too much sunlight, or it will lose its leaves.

Rescue method: When the sunlight is strong, move it to a semi-shaded or cool place for a period of time. Especially in summer, strong light must be blocked.
