Why does the dragon bone flower drop its leaves?

Why does the dragon bone flower drop its leaves?

1. Low temperature

Dragon bone flower is not suitable for growing in an environment with relatively low temperatures. Usually when the temperature is low in winter, it will be frostbitten. When the plant is damaged by frost, its leaves will continue to fall off. Please note that the temperature in winter should not be lower than 7℃. When the temperature drops, you should pay attention to keeping warm and take certain measures to keep out the cold.

2. Soil compaction

If the soil is not loosened or the pot is not changed for a long time during the cultivation period, the cultivation soil will easily become hardened, which will affect the growth of the plant and cause leaves to fall off. It is best to loosen the soil in time during cultivation, and change the pot every year. When changing the pot, try to add some base fertilizer, which is very beneficial to the growth of the plant's roots.

3. Water accumulation in the basin

If you water it too much during maintenance, the moisture in the potting soil will not be easily lost. After a long time, water will accumulate in the pot and the plant will have fallen leaves and yellow leaves. At this time, you should stop watering and put it in a place with good air circulation. After waiting for a while, the problem will improve.

4. Fertilizer is too concentrated

If the fertilizer used for it is too concentrated, or is not diluted before use, it will cause root burn and the leaves will fall off. If this is the cause, you need to stop fertilizing first, trim the rotten roots and then replant it. After about half a month of care, the plant's growth will return to normal.
