What to do if the hydrangea leaf tips dry up

What to do if the hydrangea leaf tips dry up

1. Reduce the amount of fertilizer

Reason: When fertilizing hydrangeas, if the amount is too large, or if it is used directly without diluting it with water, the roots will be burned and the tips of the leaves will become dry.

Solution: It is best to pour some water in the flowerpot so that the excess fertilizer can be discharged from the flowerpot as soon as possible. The amount of fertilizer should be reduced during normal breeding.

2. Increase Lighting

Reason: There is no sunlight in the environment for growing hydrangeas. If the plants grow in a dark place for a long time, they will grow poorly and the leaf tips will easily dry out.

Solution: Let it see more sunlight in normal times, ensure that the breeding environment is not dark, and it will slowly recover after a period of maintenance. In addition, windows should be opened more often during maintenance to ensure good ventilation.

3. Control the amount of water

Reason: Many people always fail to control the amount of water when watering it, and there is often water accumulation in the flowerpot. Over time, the roots will rot and the leaf tips will dry up and turn yellow.

Solution: Stop watering first, wait for the accumulated water in the pot to evaporate, and then water reasonably. No water should be allowed to accumulate at any time.
