What to do if the leaves of evergreen lily droop

What to do if the leaves of evergreen lily droop

1. Reduce watering

If you water too much during maintenance and the soil in the pot is too moist, the roots cannot breathe normally and the leaves will droop. You should move it to a well-ventilated place in time to dry the soil in the pot. Normally, water in small amounts. It is best to wait until the soil is dry before watering. If it is not dry, there is no need to water. This way the roots can grow better and the leaves will not droop.

2. Replace the potting soil

If you do not change the soil in the pot for a long time during maintenance, the soil will easily become compacted and impermeable. The soil and roots at the bottom will not be able to absorb water, and the lack of water will cause the leaves to turn yellow, droop, and wilt. At this time, you should take out the plant, change the pot and soil in time, and it will recover soon.

3. Avoid exposure to the sun

Although it likes light, if the light is too strong, the leaves will be sunburned and droop, especially in the hot summer. It must be shaded in time and placed in a cool place for a period of time to recover.

4. Correct seedling slowing

Generally, the evergreens grown at home are purchased directly from flower shops, and most of them are grown in greenhouses. If they are not adapted to the environment right after being brought home, their leaves will tend to droop. It should be exposed to light gradually, and the seedlings should be properly grown, and then normally maintained after it adapts to the environment.
