Rose and Bougainvillea...all you need is a plastic bottle, and big white roots will pop out, and the pot will be full of flowers in just one month!

Rose cuttings grown in plastic bottles will take root in 7 days!

It won’t be long before the roses bloom, so take advantage of the spring to plant a few more cuttings and your home will be turned into a rose garden!

Steps:

1. Find a clean plastic bottle and cut it from the upper half with scissors. Be careful not to cut it all off, just leave a small part on one side.

2. Prepare the rose branches needed for cuttings. Be sure to choose those sturdy branches so that they are easier to survive. Cut the lower end of each branch at a 45° angle to make it easier to take root.

3. Prepare a piece of foam board and cut it into a circle that is smaller than the mouth of the plastic bottle, so that the foam board can be taken out of the bottle at will. Then poke a small hole in the center of the foam board so that the rose branch can be inserted into it.

4. Add some water to the plastic bottle, then put the foam board with the rose branches into the plastic bottle, arrange the rose leaves, let the leaves stretch out as much as possible, and try not to make the water level in the plastic bottle exceed the leaves of the rose branches.

5. Find black tape and wrap it tightly around the joint of the plastic bottle to seal it.

6. Place it in a place with good diffuse light indoors for 1 week, and then move it to direct sunlight. It will only take about 1 week for the seed to take root.

7. After rooting, in order to ensure the survival rate, you can first transplant it. Prepare a disposable cup, first add a layer of perlite on the bottom, then add nutrient soil, cinders or the like, and put the rose branches in it.

8. When the roots are longer, prepare loose and breathable nutrient soil and put the rooted rose branches directly into the pot. Apply some compound fertilizer and potassium dihydrogen phosphate regularly, and the roses will grow quickly!

Bougainvillea planted with cuttings from plastic bottles has thick and strong roots!

As a northerner, Huahua sometimes really envy the south. After all, the bougainvillea in the south can climb walls wherever it wants, and can even climb several meters high. It is so beautiful!

Steps:

1. Prepare strong bougainvillea branches, preferably semi-lignified branches, about 10-15cm in length. Leave 2-3 leaves on the top, and cut the bottom of the branch at a 45° angle with a sharp knife, then soak it in rooting water.

2. Prepare floral mud blocks, cut them into small pieces with a length, width and height of 3 cm each, and then insert the bougainvillea branches into them.

3. Place the bougainvillea cuttings and flower mud together in a tray, then find a clean plastic bottle to cover it, and place it in a place with good diffused light indoors, paying attention to moisturizing and ventilation.

4. It only takes about 1 month, and then you will see white roots coming through the floral mud, indicating that the bougainvillea cuttings have taken root.

5. After rooting, put the bougainvillea together with the flower mud into a pot, place it in a cool and ventilated place for a while, and then place it in a well-lit place on the south balcony for normal maintenance, and the bougainvillea will grow up quickly!

Using plastic bottles to propagate succulent plants, one pot can be turned into 100 pots in minutes!

Spring is the time when succulents grow rapidly. If you want to quickly get many pots of succulents, the only way left is leaf cuttings!

Steps:

1. Pull off the leaves from the mother plant and place them in a place with good diffuse light indoors to dry to prevent the wounds from being infected by black rot.

2. Prepare a clean plastic bottle. According to the size of the succulent leaves, use scissors and a sharp knife to poke a few small holes in the middle and upper part of the plastic bottle. It is best to make the holes into an oval shape, and only poke one hole in the lower part for easy addition of water.

3. First add water into the bottle, being careful not to let the water level exceed the punctured water inlet. Then insert the dried wounded succulent leaves into the plastic bottle and place them in a place with good scattered light. If you find that the water at the bottom has decreased, add a little. If you find that the leaves are wilting, you can spray them with water.

4. The water in the plastic bottle will continue to evaporate and increase the humidity, thereby prompting the succulent leaves to take root and sprout as soon as possible. Once you notice that the cuttings of the succulent leaves have taken root and sprouted, you can transplant them into potting soil.

5. When removing the rooted leaves from the plastic bottle, be careful to avoid damaging the newly grown roots. If you are really worried, you can also choose to cut the plastic bottle with scissors, add some water at the bottom, and fix the succulent leaves directly with tape.
