Why doesn't nasturtium bloom?

Why doesn't nasturtium bloom?

1. Reasons for not blooming

The reason why nasturtium does not bloom is that the environment cannot meet the growth conditions of flower buds. It likes a warm growing environment and is not resistant to severe cold or extreme heat. The growth temperature is between 18℃ and 24℃. It is not easy to bloom when the temperature exceeds 30 degrees in summer, and it is in a dormant state when the temperature exceeds 35 degrees. It is also in a dormant state when the temperature is below 10 degrees in winter and it is not easy to bloom. During the maintenance period, the temperature must be appropriate, the light must be sufficient, and the nutrients must be sufficient.

2. Solution to No Flowering

If the nasturtium has not bloomed during the flowering period, it can be made to bloom by adjusting the room temperature, or it can be helped to bloom by using fertilizers such as phosphorus and potassium fertilizers.
