What to do if the leaves of Begonia wither

What to do if the leaves of Begonia wither

1. Change soil and control water

Reasons for wilting: If the crabapple flower is placed outdoors during the rainy season and is exposed to a lot of rain without timely drainage, or if it is watered too much during the maintenance process, it will easily damage the root system of the plant, thereby reducing its efficiency in absorbing nutrients and causing the leaves to turn yellow and wither.

Solution: First, you need to change the soil for the plant. If the waterlogging is not serious, you can drain the accumulated water and replace it with half dry soil. If the waterlogging is serious, most of the soil needs to be replaced. After changing the soil, pay attention to rain protection and control watering to prevent it from being waterlogged again.

2. Rehydrate in time

Reason for wilting: If you don’t water it for a long time, the plant will lack water, and many physiological reactions will not occur normally, causing the leaves to wither.

Solution: You need to water it in moderation. When watering, you must water the entire soil thoroughly. Don't just keep the surface of the soil moist while the soil deep inside is still dry. After that, you should observe its condition more often and water it in time if it lacks water.

3. Increase Lighting

Reason for wilting: If the plant cannot see sunlight for a long time, the light reaction cannot proceed normally, it cannot synthesize nutrients normally, and the leaves will wilt.

Solution: Keep it in a sunny place and don't keep it in the dark for a long time.
