What to do if azalea buds wither

What to do if azalea buds wither

1. Water in time

Reason: The color and shape of the azalea are relatively normal, it is just wilting. This may be because the soil is too dry and the flower has not been watered for a long time.

Solution: Water it in time, it will recover quickly after watering. This situation does not cause much damage to the flower buds and the flowers can continue to bloom.

2. Water spraying to increase humidity

Reason: The flower buds changed color and wilted obviously, and did not recover after watering. This may be because the azalea is in an environment that is too dry.

Solution: Increase the air humidity around the azalea by spraying some water mist around it.

3. Treat the symptoms

Reason: If you water too frequently or apply heavy fertilizer during the flowering period, it will cause root damage and may also cause the flower buds to wither.

Solution: If this is the case, watering or some simple maintenance will not restore it. We need to analyze what aspects of the environment we provided it with before cannot meet its flowering needs, and prescribe the right remedy to make it recover quickly.
