Why do yucca flowers not produce fruit? In fact, the reason is that there is a lack of pollination when cultivating yucca, such as insect pollination, which makes it difficult for it to bear fruit.

Solution to the problem of yucca blooming without fruit

If the yucca has the phenomenon of blooming but not bearing fruit, the most important thing is to solve the pollination problem in order to increase the chances of bearing fruit. There are actually two solutions.

First, when cultivating yucca, artificial pollination should be carried out during its flowering period. It should be carried out on sunny days, between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Use tweezers to pick the stamens and apply the pollen to the stigma of the pistil to complete the pollination.

Second, during the flowering period of yucca, cut off some of the flowers to make it easier for insects to pollinate inside the flowers.

In addition, it can be propagated asexually, such as by division or cuttings, so there is no need to worry about it not blooming.
