Curled leaves are so ugly, here's a trick to help you solve it

It's all because of dryness.

Many flower lovers have reported that they have moved their flowers and plants indoors in time and watered them according to the principle of watering them when the soil is dry, but why are the leaves of their plants still curled?

The reason why the leaves curl is that the air is too dry. If the air humidity is not high, even humans can’t stand it, let alone plants that like a humid environment?

Solution:

One is to add a humidifier at home to increase the indoor air humidity, which can not only relieve the curling of plant leaves, but also relieve the dry skin symptoms of family members.

The second is to frequently sprinkle water around the plants to increase the air humidity.

It's all because of the location

How many flower lovers place their plants directly on the ground? Or is it placed directly on the radiator? Or put it where it can't see the sunlight? This is extremely unacceptable behavior.

Solution:

Most plants need light, and there is no plant that can live completely in darkness. Moreover, the light in winter is relatively mild, so there is no need to worry about sunburn. You can place the flowers and plants at home on the windowsill, south-facing balcony, etc., and expose them to sunlight frequently to reduce leaf curling.

It's all because of the temperature

Although it has always been claimed that the south is warmer than the north, there are many areas in the south that are very cold and there is no heating. So, how do we keep the plants warm in this case?

Solution:

One is to use bagging for wintering. The so-called bagging is to use a woven bag to cover the entire plant. The bag should preferably be supported by a bracket and cannot directly contact the plant. The bag mouth should not be sealed, but can be pressed down with the bottom of the pot. This can protect the plant from direct invasion of cold wind and can effectively protect the plant safely over the winter (of course, if conditions permit, try to place the plant in a leeward place).

The second is to cover with a layer of 5 to 10 cm of soil as antifreeze soil, which can effectively prevent frostbite of plant roots.

It's all the fertilizer's fault

Another reason for leaf curling is fertilizer. If the fertilizer or nutrient solution is too rich, it will also cause leaf curling. We usually call it fertilizer burn.

Solution:

If it is just a slight over-fertilization, it can still be saved! You can rinse the soil with plenty of water for an hour, provide shade, then pot it and maintain it normally. Note that it cannot be exposed to the sun immediately after potting, it will take a day or two to get it ready.
