What to do if Chlorophytum comosum does not bloom

What to do if Chlorophytum comosum does not bloom

Reasons for not blooming and how to deal with it

Watering too frequently

If watering is too frequent, the plant will absorb a large amount of nitrogen and phosphorus elements that are beneficial to the growth of stems and leaves, while potassium fertilizer is difficult to dissolve in water and difficult to be absorbed, resulting in the phalaenopsis only growing leaves but not blooming. At this time, we only need to reduce the frequency of watering and water as needed.

Insufficient light

Insufficient light may also cause the peony spider plant to fail to bloom. At this time, we need to move the pot to a place with sufficient light, warm and ventilated.

If it is neither of the above two situations, then flower lovers need to pay attention to whether they are too negligent in plant care and pay more attention to their potted plants.

Things to note when breeding:

Growing environment:

Chlorophytum comosum prefers a warm, dry, airy and well-ventilated environment, and is suitable for growing in sandy soil with good drainage.

Growth Temperature:

It is best to keep the temperature of the growing environment at around 15 degrees. The plant will enter a dormant period in winter when the temperature is too low, so insulation work needs to be done in advance.

Fertilizer and water requirements:

Generally, spring and summer are the peak growth periods for Chlorophytum comosum, during which time it has a greater demand for fertilizer and water; after late autumn, Chlorophytum comosum grows slowly and does not have much demand for fertilizer and water.
