How to fix wilting flowers

How to fix wilting flowers

You must feel heartbroken watching your beloved flowers wither. There are many reasons for the withering of flowers. If you are not careful, you will cause the flowers to wither, such as lack of water, lack of fertilizer, lack of light, temperature intolerance, intolerance to the pH value of the soil, excessive application of chemical fertilizers, virus infection, insect pests, damage by toxic gases in the air, etc. The situation is very complicated, but most of them are caused by lack of water.

Reasons for flower wilt

Air Drying

The way to compensate for the wilting caused by excessively dry air is to spray water on the ground and leaves around the flowers two to three times a day. There is no way to restore the flowers that have already withered, but it is guaranteed that slightly wilted flowers will gradually improve.

The pot soil is lacking water

The reason why flowers wilt is often because the gardener waters too little each time, thinking that is enough just to moisten the surface of the soil. As a result, the roots of the flowers cannot absorb any water. This is a big taboo in watering flowers. Gardeners call it "watering halfway". Over time, the flowers will naturally wilt due to lack of water.

Remedies for wilting flowers

Watering

Of course, you need to water the potting soil, but there is a particularly noteworthy issue here: at this time, you can only gradually increase the amount of water for the potting soil, and you cannot water it too much all at once. This is because when the flower plants wilt, their root hairs have shrunk and lost the ability to absorb water. At the same time, wilting has caused the cells to lose water. If too much water is supplied suddenly, the cell walls and protoplasm will undergo plasmolysis. Therefore, when the plants suddenly absorb a large amount of water after drought, it will also cause death.

Water spray

People often say that autumn is cool and the weather is dry, so people can drink more water to avoid getting a sore throat. The same goes for flowers, which have a hard time growing well in dry conditions. So daily watering is very important.

The environment in our living room is generally dry. Make sure to spray water once 1 to 2 days, or once a day. This will not only increase the humidity of the environment, but also clean the leaves.
