What to do if hibiscus leaves have rust spots

What to do if hibiscus leaves have rust spots

1. Symptoms

Some round or irregular spots gradually grew on the leaves of the plant. They were relatively small, ranging from 1 mm to several mm in size, and looked yellowish-brown, with some being dark brown. Not surprisingly, these brown spots are surrounded by a yellow halo, and the plates are made up of individual brown spots. In severe cases, the entire leaf will be covered with these terrible things, the leaves will change, and then fall off easily.

2. Reasons

It can be said that it is mainly due to a kind of fungus called Ascomycetes and other miscellaneous fungi that harm the plants together or in mixture. These pathogens spend the winter in the form of hyphae or fruiting bodies on diseased leaves, and then spread through wind and rain. This is usually caused by poor air permeability in the planting area or by warm and rainy weather.

III. Methods

1The first step is to quickly pick off all the diseased leaves and burn them all together to prevent further spread of the bacteria.

2Prevention and treatment. You can regularly spray 600 to 800 times the liquid of Guoguang Yintai on the branches and leaves, and add Guoguang Sitaling. This can effectively prevent diseases while supplementing nutrients.

3 If the disease has just started and is not yet too serious, you can use 500 to 600 times diluted 25% myclobutanil emulsifiable concentrate or 400 to 600 times diluted 50% manganese zinc wettable powder to spray on the branches and leaves. Use it 2 to 3 times in a row, once every week.
