The main pest of spearmint is aphids. In spring and summer, spearmint may be eaten by aphids, but if local pests such as caterpillars have no other food to eat, they will also eat spearmint. If we find signs of the esparto grass being eaten, we must immediately carry out insecticide treatment. We can use some pesticides to kill pests, but be careful to only spray a thin layer of liquid on the leaves of the spearmint. Too much pesticide will cause necrosis of the glandular hairs on the leaves of the spearmint, and even cause the death of the spearmint. Therefore, if you encounter pests when planting spearmint, it is best to kill them manually.

Diseases and their control of physalis

Diseases of Chinese marigold are generally caused by fungal infections, which are more likely to occur in summer. When the environment for growing sundew is relatively hot and stuffy, the ventilation is poor, and the air humidity is relatively high, it will cause fungal infection in the sundew. The growth of sundew will be weakened after fungal infection, and it may even lead to death. If the sundew is infected with fungi, the infected part should be removed immediately, and then ventilation should be carried out to prevent the spread of fungi. If the situation is more serious, fungicides should be sprayed to kill the fungi.
