What to do if there are white bugs in succulents, how to remove insect eggs in succulent soil

1. Tobacco water spray

Tobacco water can effectively kill white bugs on succulents. Collect about 20-30 cigarette butts from smoking, soak them in water for a day, and put the clear liquid into a spray bottle. Spray it on the area where the insects are infected and they will be eliminated quickly. Generally, spray it once every 3 days.

2. Spray with soapy water

Soapy water is easily available in the home and is deadly to many insects, so it is also a good choice for insect control. Generally, you need to use 50 ml of soapy water, add it to 1 liter of water, mix it thoroughly, and then spray it on the places where pests are present. It should be noted that the time for spraying water should be chosen on a sunny day, as the effect is not good in rainy weather.

3. Spray with garlic water

Garlic water is also very effective in killing pests. Crush the garlic and soak it in clean water. Take out the clear liquid after 12 hours. Pour it on the affected area once every 3-4 days, and the pests will be eliminated after three times. However, this solution has a strong odor, so be sure to pay attention to ventilation after spraying, otherwise it will smell bad.

4. Change the soil and remove the eggs

The above three methods can only eliminate adult insects, but have no preventive effect on larvae. The best way to get rid of insect eggs is to change the pot and soil. After loosening the soil appropriately, take the succulent out of the pot, prepare a basin, pour clean water of suitable temperature into it, soak the roots in it, wash off the soil in the basin, remove the insect eggs, and then dry it and prepare it for the pot.
