When does the weeping crabapple bloom?

When it comes to secondary flowering, we first need to know when the weeping crabapple blooms.

The flowering period of weeping crabapple is from March to April every year. It does not actually last very long, but when it blooms, the red flowers hang down, which is very beautiful. When the breeze blows gently, it is particularly moving. The prosperous streets in the distance look like colorful clouds in the sky.

It is such a pity that we can only enjoy such beautiful flowers once a year. Can weeping crabapple bloom a second time?

How to make the weeping crabapple bloom again

To make the weeping crabapple bloom again, you need to master certain skills.

The flowering period of the weeping crabapple usually ends in April, but if measures such as cooling, water control and shading can be taken afterwards, it is expected to bloom again in autumn.

In early July, you can move the potted weeping begonia to a cool place, or shade it to reduce the light exposure time of the weeping begonia. Then combine cooling and water control to cause the leaves of the weeping crabapple to turn yellow and fall off, putting it into dormancy, and then water it in small amounts to keep it growing.

After more than a month of dormancy, move the weeping crabapple to a place with sufficient light, water it thoroughly, and then apply fertilizer. It will slowly wake up and sprout. After a few days, it will bloom again.
