How to grow green radish to make it more lush and strong?

As a common household plant, green ivy is not only favored for its beautiful green leaves, but also for its various placement options indoors. Whether it is a bedroom, living room or other living space, green ivy can become a beautiful landscape. In addition, green ivy also has the environmental protection function of absorbing formaldehyde and purifying indoor air. So how can we grow green radish to make it more lush and strong?

1. Shading

When caring for green radish, we often hear that it needs more sunlight, but this does not mean that the green radish should be exposed to the sun for a long time. Too little or too much light will cause the leaves of the green radish to fade in color and lose their luster. As a jungle plant, Pothos is very shade-tolerant. In early spring and winter, it can receive full sunlight, and in other seasons, about 7 hours of scattered light per day is sufficient.

2. Soil selection

Pothos likes loose, breathable and fertile soil. The commonly used culture soil is a mixture of leaf mold and vermiculite. Slightly acidic soil is more conducive to the growth of green radish. Peat soil with vermiculite granules is also a good choice. Novice flower lovers can directly purchase special leaf mold and avoid using garden soil to prevent the roots of the green radish from becoming stuffy.

3. Watering

Chlorophytum likes a humid environment, so spraying and watering are important. When watering, water thoroughly and spray water mist every day, twice a day in summer. The rooting and branching areas should also be sprayed. Avoid watering at high temperatures in the middle of the day in summer; evening or morning is more suitable. Watering frequency should be moderate to avoid excessive dryness or wetness to prevent yellow leaves and root rot.

4. Fertilization

Whether it is soil-cultured or hydroponic, fertilizers must be applied in time during the growing period. Mainly use nitrogen fertilizer to make the leaves greener and brighter. When growth is vigorous in spring, the frequency of fertilization can be appropriately increased to once every 10 days or so. To enhance resistance, phosphorus fertilizer and potassium fertilizer can be applied in appropriate amounts.

5. Pruning

Through pruning, the shape of the green radish can be made more beautiful and its growth can be promoted. Cut off rotten and yellow leaves in time, and prune the green radish when it grows to 20 cm away from the potting soil. After new leaves grow out, cut off the old leaves at the bottom in time. Pruning can keep the leaves green and fresh without worrying about baldness. For branches that are too dense, they can also be dealt with by pruning and division.

To sum up, in fact, as long as you do these points well in your daily care for the green radish, you can ensure that the green radish grows more lush and strong. In addition, the green radish itself is a kind of green plant with particularly tenacious vitality.
