How to deal with rotten roots of green radish (hydroponics and soil culture treatment methods)

1. How to deal with root rot in hydroponics

1. After discovering root rot, you need to use scissors to cut off the rotten part of the green radish root system, and try to avoid damaging other healthy roots.

2. Pour out the original water and replace it with clean water. It is best to use purified water. Do not use tap water. There are too many microorganisms in tap water, which will consume the nutrients in the water and cause secondary damage to the green radish.

3. When changing the water, be careful not to soak the green radish in water. The water surface should only cover the highest point of the plant roots, so as not to hinder the breathing of the plant roots.

4. Go to the flower market to buy fungicide, put the fungicide in water, soak the plants for one day, and change the water the next day.

5. Adjust the indoor temperature to a temperature suitable for plant survival.

6. Before the plant's root rot is completely repaired, just use clean water, and there is no need to add nutrient solution to the water.

2. How to deal with soil rot

1. First, cut off the rotten roots, dig out the whole plant of green radish as intact as possible, do not damage the roots, wash all the soil at the roots, then cut off the rotten parts, and be careful when pruning.

2. After pruning the green radish, apply the fungicide such as carbendazim to the roots and soak them in the solution for 30 minutes to prevent rot caused by bacterial infection. This will ensure that the roots are thoroughly disinfected.

3. Change to a new flowerpot and new soil. Choose soil suitable for the survival of the green radish, and then replant it.
