What to do if the roots of the hydroponic weeping angel rot

reason

When hydroponically cultivating the Weeping Goddess of Water, root rot may be caused by improper operation of the flower lovers during the hydroponics.

When growing the plants in water, you may clean them and then directly grow them in water. If you do not wash the roots or disinfect them during hydroponics, although you can see the effect of hydroponics in a short time, root rot will easily occur in the later stages of growth.

In addition, when caring for the weeping angel, root rot may occur due to improper operation. First of all, it may be that during the breeding process, the water was not changed for a long time, resulting in changes in water quality and difficulty in balancing the pH, causing root rot in the weeping angel. The second reason is insufficient light, which causes diseases and insect pests on the leaves of the weeping angel plant, as well as severe root rot.

What to do if the roots rot

First, the rotten roots of the Weeping Buds need to be removed first. Take out the plant of Weeping Goddess of Water and trim the rotten roots. You can use scissors directly. After cutting off the rotten roots, you can cut off all the branches and leaves, leaving only the healthy roots. After pruning, the weeping angel needs to be cleaned. You can rinse it in clean water. After washing off all the dirt, you can disinfect the roots by soaking them in carbendazim. Then wash it with clean water and place it in a ventilated place to dry. After drying, the weeping angel can be replanted.

Second, the replanted weeping angel must be carefully maintained, with proper management of water and fertilizer and proper light exposure. The replanted weeping angel should be able to recover after about a month of care. If it still withers, turns yellow, and its roots become soft, then the treatment has failed and it needs to be thrown away.
