What is the problem with the yellowing leaves of Oncidium? What should I do?

What is the problem with the yellowing leaves of Oncidium? What should I do?

1. Too much sunlight

1. Reason: Oncidium likes to grow in a semi-shady environment and hates an environment with too strong light. If you accidentally place it in a place with strong light during maintenance, its leaves may turn yellow due to sunburn.

2. Rescue method: At this time, the plant needs to be moved to a well-ventilated and shaded place for cultivation, and the leaves that are severely sunburned should be cut off. After a period of rest, it will recover.

2. Excessive watering

1. Reason: It likes moisture, but is afraid of waterlogging. If you water it too frequently during cultivation, causing water to accumulate in the flowerpot, its roots will rot, causing yellow leaves.

2. Rescue method: At this time, the plant should be moved to a ventilated place, and the flowerpot should be raised with bricks to allow the water in the soil to flow out. Then put it back to its original place and stop watering for a while until it recovers.

3. Too little fertilization

1. Reason: If the soil for maintaining it is relatively poor and no fertilizer is applied during its growing period, it will have yellow leaves due to lack of nutrition.

2. Rescue method: At this time, you need to apply some low-concentration compound liquid fertilizer to provide nutrients. If conditions permit, it is best to replace it with more fertile soil.
