Causes and treatments for yellow clover leaves

Causes and treatments for yellow clover leaves

1. Improper watering

1. Reason: Clover likes a humid environment, but excessive watering will cause water accumulation in the pot, damage the root system, and the plant will turn yellow. If there is a lack of water and the water it needs during its growth period cannot be met, yellow leaves will appear.

2. Treatment method: If you water too much, you need to stop watering immediately, loosen the soil, and place it in a well-ventilated place to facilitate the evaporation of water. It will return to normal after a period of maintenance. If you water it too little, you need to water it immediately to keep the soil moist but not waterlogged. Take care of it for a period of time, and then you can water it normally after the leaves return to normal.

2. Normal Metabolism

1. Reason: When the temperature drops to 0℃ in winter, most of the old leaves of clover will begin to turn yellow. This is a normal metabolic phenomenon.

2. Treatment method: This phenomenon does not require special treatment, normal maintenance is sufficient.

3. Insufficient light

1. Reason: Clover is a light-loving plant. Except for the strong light in summer, it needs adequate light at other times. If it does not get enough light, the leaves will not be able to carry out photosynthesis and will turn yellow.

2. Treatment method: Immediately move it to a place with sufficient light for maintenance, but the light should not be too strong. After about a week of maintenance, the leaves will slowly return to green.
