How to make Olivia's succulents bloom

How to make Olivia's succulents bloom

1. Adequate sunlight

Olivia likes an environment with plenty of light. It should be placed in a sunny place so that it can receive light all day long, but it should be shaded in summer to prevent it from being exposed to the sun. If there is insufficient light and the environment is dark, the growth of the plant will be restricted, and it will not be able to photosynthesize to produce nutrients, and it may also grow too tall.

2. Suitable temperature

Olivia is more suitable for growing in cool places. If the temperature is too high or too low, it will affect its development. Usually the temperature between 10-28℃ is better. If the temperature is too high, you need to spray water around to cool it down. If the temperature is too low, place the plant in a warm place or cover it with a plastic bag to keep it warm.

3. Proper watering

As a succulent plant, Olivia does not require much water. If it is watered too much, it will easily cause root rot, thus affecting its growth. In daily maintenance, you must control the amount of water and do not water too much. If there is water accumulation, it needs to be drained in time, and the soil needs to be loosened and ventilated to allow the moisture in the soil to evaporate as soon as possible.

4. Supplemental fertilizer

During the growing period of Olivia, proper supplementation of fertilizer is also helpful for the plant to bloom out of the pot. Fertilizers are usually special fertilizers for succulents, but organic fertilizers can also be used. They need to be fully diluted before application to avoid concentrated fertilizers burning the roots. Usually water the plant the next day after fertilizing, which can speed up the absorption of nutrients.
