What to do if the leaves of Cymbidium orchid turn yellow

What to do if the leaves of Cymbidium orchid turn yellow

1. Peripheral water spray

The humidity in its growing environment is too low, and the dry climate will cause the edges of the leaves to appear yellow and burnt. This situation is easy to deal with. Just remove the yellow leaves and spray water around to maintain the humidity. If the space is too dry, you can spray it several times a day.

2. Adjust the temperature

It is a cold-resistant plant, but it cannot tolerate extremely low temperatures. If it is accidentally attacked by cold air, the leaves will have a stress response and turn yellow. This situation is generally not fatal, and the symptoms will only appear after a period of time. First, cut off the leaves, and then slowly care for and condition the plant. After the plant adapts, the condition will be alleviated and it will regain vitality.

3. Adjust watering

It has fleshy roots and can tolerate a little drought. If it is watered too frequently, it will cause root rot. The rotten roots need to be trimmed and then replanted and cultivated. Pay attention to control the amount of water when watering. Do not water too frequently and the amount of water at one time should not be too much. If you find that you have watered too much, pour it out in time and then place it in a ventilated place to dry.

4. Adjust the lighting

If the plant is exposed to too little light, it will also affect its growth and weaken. You can adjust its position and place it in a diffuse light environment.
