How to raise Huang Lijin

How to raise Huang Lijin

1. Breeding methods

1. Soil: Huang Lijin has strong adaptability and has relatively low requirements for soil. It can grow well even with ordinary garden soil. If conditions permit, try to use soil with good air permeability. If you prepare the soil yourself, you can mix it with peat and coal slag.

2. Light: When caring for the plants, make sure they receive more light, especially during the growth period, and make sure there is sufficient light. The temperature in midsummer is relatively high, and the light intensity is also very high. At this time, the growth rate of the plants will slow down, so you must do a good job of shading. In winter, the sunlight is very weak, so we need to get more sunlight.

3. Water: Watering of Huang Lijin must be reasonable. No need to water when the cultivation medium is not dry. Spring and autumn are its peak growth seasons. At this time, it is necessary to ensure that there is sufficient water in the soil, but the amount of water should not be too much. In summer, you should spray water frequently, which can not only reduce the temperature but also increase the humidity. In severe winter, watering should be controlled, otherwise the roots will rot and frostbite.

2. Breeding Methods

If you want to propagate it, you usually use leaf cuttings or beheading methods. It is difficult for plants grown by beheading propagation to grow side buds. Leaf cuttings are not only simple to operate, but also have a relatively high survival rate. Simply break off the healthy leaves, dip them in appropriate rooting powder, and insert them obliquely or place them in the substrate.
